ALM president Nerida Merlin said a steady stream of visitors to the group’s 20th annual show, at Morisset Memorial Hall, had very positive feedback.
“Everybody seemed to thing that we’d lifted out game this year,” Ms Merlin said.
“People were commenting that there was a more modern look to our work.”
She attributed that to workshops that the group hosted throughout the year which introduced members to new products, and techniques. Thirteen artworks were sold over the weekend, including a piece by the group’s oldest member, Cliff Curran, 90.
