The home will feature an infinity pool, internal lift, entertainment theatre and a wine cellar.
The ‘toys’ aren’t forgotten either. The lock-up garage will provide accommodation for four cars and a boat.
The architect-designed home will be built by a family from the Hills Shire, in Sydney.
The family recently set a record land sale for the area, purchasing two adjacent lots, totalling 1164 square metres, to build their dream holiday home in the fifth stage of the master-planned community at Morisset Park.
The home will have a 660-square-metre footprint.
It has been designed by Central Coast architects ADG Architects.
Managing director Anthony Kelly said the modernist home was one of the most exciting residential projects ADG Architects had worked on.
“We’ve spent countless hours designing an extraordinary home that takes advantage of not only its incredible views of Lake Macquarie but also the beautiful year-round weather,” Mr Kelly said.
“The home was designed to maximise light around a north-east orientated courtyard and its infinity-edged pool. Simple forms and deep overhangs provide adequate sun protection during summer, but also allow the winter sun in.
“It will set a design precedent for not only Trinity Point, but also the whole Lake Macquarie region.”
Trinity Point developer, Johnson Property Group, said word of the sale of the “superlot” had sparked buyer interest in the community.
“Since this superlot was sold as the highest land-sale in the community to date, we’ve seen a large spike in enquiry from both the surrounding community but also prospective Sydney-based buyers,” JPG chief executive Keith Johnson said.
“Trinity Point will offer buyers an enviable combination of lakeside living, 5-star on-site leisure and retail facilities as well as access to one of the largest marinas in NSW, so it’s no wonder we are seeing interest from right around the country. We’re designing a world-leading masterplanned community.”
