This year’s event will include over 150 displays and stalls filling The Boulevarde, which is closed to traffic for the day, and the foreshore.
Displays and stalls are grouped into themes; Grownup Up, Arts & Craft, Fashion & Beauty, Homemaker, Healthy Living, Gourmet & Fair Food, Community, Emergency Services and Kids Activities.
See what is on offer in each section from a selection of both local and visiting vendors as you walk down The Boulevarde to the foreshore.
Among this year’s Fair features are two entertainment stages; one in the Town Square and the other at the Rotunda on the foreshore, where local bands, choirs and dancers will perform throughout the day.
Check out the website for the program on the day to make sure you don’t miss your favourite group.
Don’t forget to get an official program from the volunteers at the various entrances or at the Orange Information booth near the Post Office to keep the children amused with a treasure map whilst you enjoy the themed stalls.
Start at the Grown Up fun area at the traffic lights so the children will have their treasure map filled with stickers when they reach the foreshore to receive their gift for completing the treasure hunt.
There will be various roaming characters but the highlight this year is Where’s Wally who will be popping up with both a sticker for the younger children and an extra prize for finding him twice and a selfie competition for the older ones.
Amusement rides, pony rides and the very popular pool slide (remember your swimmers) will delight fair goers on the foreshore.
Toronto Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the sponsors of the fair; Fairfax Media, Pacific Smiles, Pumps 2000, Lake Macquarie City Council, The Brighton, Williams Roncolato Lawyers, Toronto Workers Club, Centennial Coal and Triggs Motors for their support of this event.
The event will be held on The Boulevarde, Toronto Town Square & Toronto Foreshore this Sunday from 9am.
