It was all part of an unusual promotion hosted by Johnson Property Group (JPG) to ramp up buyer activity in its $388 million project, and to mark the launch of a new display suite at the Morisset Park site.
JPG was offering 500-gram gold bullion bars valued at $28,888 to each of the purchasers who bought one of the 55 lots in Trinity Point’s fifth and sixth stages by the deadline on Sunday.
“To date, 28 blocks have been sold at Trinity Point, with 19 sold during the gold bullion promotion,” Johnson Property Group managing director Keith Johnson said.
“Amongst the day’s buyers were Todd Perry and Elicia Curran, from Baulkham Hills, who purchased lot number 1215 and secured their gold bullion.
“However, the highest sale of the day was $818,888.88 for a 825-square-metre block.”
More than 230 people turned out to join MrJohnson and Trinity Point ambassadors Michael Clarke and Jennifer Hawkins at the event.
Prospective buyers were encouraged to check out the fishing and picnic areas on the day, as well as take boat rides on Lake Macquarie.
TV’s Larry Emdur hosted the formalities.
