The 7/8s and 9 year olds have now finished for the year, and left the courts with happy faces.
Participation medals were the talk of the day, with the youngest players feeling like superstars.
At the conclusion of the 15 rounds only two teams remained undefeated.
One was the under-9 Rathmines Bearcats. This was a great result for such a young team, and credit also to to their coach Tara Culbert for her enthusiastic approach to coaching. This is a team to look out for in coming years.
Rathmines Skyraiderz, in Division 4, were also undefeated and now face a semi-final challenge against the Wangi Arcadia Silver Bullets.
Coach Tracy Baldock is preparing her team for finals netball, and her girls are definitely used to pressure games.
The association’s under-10s face semi-finals for the first time this year, anxious, nervous and excited.
Morisset's Angels will take on the Bolton Point Galaxy Girls in the major semi-final, while Rathmines Kittyhawks and Joeys Jjs will meet in the minor semi-final.
In Junior 4, Rathmines Dragonflies vs Bolton Point Dazzlers (major), and Morisset Diamonds vs Wangi Arcadia Minions (minor).
In Junior 3, Wangi Arcadia Netball Stars vs Rathmines Seawolves (major), and Bolton Point Breezers vs Bolton Point Sapphires (minor).
In Junior 2, Bolton Point Invincibles vs Wangi Arcadia Infinities (major), and Bolton Point Opals vs Morisset Emeralds (minor).
In Junior 1, Bolton Point Smarties vs Bolton Point Warriors (major), and Wangi Arcadia Golden Girlz vs Wangi Arcadia Terminators (minor).
In Division 4, Rathmines Skyraiderz vs Wangi Arcadia Silverbullets (major), and Morisset Hotshots vs Morisset Mayhem (minor).
In Division 3, it’s Morisset Mystiques vs Wangi Arcadia Allsorts (major), with Bolton Point Comets vs Bolton Point Misfits (minor).
In Division 2, Rathmines Zeros vs Morisset Wii Not fit (major), and Rathmines Thunderbolts vs Bolton Point Fusion (minor).
In Division 1a, Bolton Point Doodle Bugs vs Bolton Point T&Bs (major), and Rathmines Raptors vs Rathmines Eagles (minor).
And in Division 1b, Bolton Point Vipers vs Rathmines Wildcats (major), and Morisset Magic vs Rathmines Jets (minor).
The top division teams face off against their adversaries after a year of competition.
There are many teams to look out for this Saturday at the Westlakes courts.
We encourage all supporters to come dressed in their club colours and encourage the players to be the best they can be.
