The men, armed with weapons, stormed the Rosewood Drive home about midnight on Monday before allegedly detaining the pair as they search through the house.
They left with household items, including a laptop computer, phones and rings.
But within half an hour of one of the women reporting the home invasion to police, officers had arrested a man in nearby Laurina Close.
The Central Coast man, 33, was allegedly found in possession of some rings stolen during the raid.
Port Stephens detectives have charged the man with aggravated break and enter and kidnapping charges.
He was due to face Raymond Terrace Local Court on Monday.
Police are still on the hunt for the second suspect.
