It caters for players of all ages, and Westlakes Netball Association is proud to be a part of a program that encourages children to be a part of the game.
As netball survives under a volunteer network, our volunteers are committed to giving the children the opportunity to play sport and learn the basic skills.
Westlakes’ young Net Set Go kids are on the Wangi Wangi courts at midday every Saturday, enthused and keen to learn.
Coaches’ convener Su-Ann James, with helpers Sami Shiels and Fallan Porter (two of Westlakes’ 14s rep players), encourage the kids with fun games as part of their introduction to netball.
We would encourage any young players aged from 5 to 10 years who are interested in playing netball in 2017 to come and see the Net So Go program in action on a Saturday, or email westlakes.netball@hotmail.com.
