The Living Smart Festival is billed as the Hunter region’s premier sustainability event, attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Council’s acting sustainability manager, Dean Chapman, said Whole Living would be a welcome addition to this year’s festival on Saturday, September 24.
“Festival-goers can start their day with a relaxing yoga session by the lake at 8am, then go on to enjoy all that the festival has to offer – coffee, farmers market, live music, market stalls, eco fashion, sustainability demonstrations and more,” Mr Chapman said.
Whole Living co-creator and yoga practitioner, Anamari Becker, said everyone was welcome to attend the session.
“We’ll be presenting a gentle class, that is suitable for all skill levels,” Ms Becker said.
“Yoga promotes inner peace and harmony and is a useful tool to help manage the everyday stresses of life.
“Best of all, you feel great after doing it.”
