The Roosters talisman Sam Walker scored another hat-trick of goals.
His first came in the 20th minute as Toronto-Awaba held the home team to a 1-nil lead at the break.
The scoring spree in the second stanza came in a rush.
Vice-captain Mathew Grey broke the match open when he scored in the 48th minute to double the home team’s lead.
Walker scored his second goal five minutes later.
Steven Rospigliosi (62th minute), Joseph Cacic (70th), and Walker (87th) blew the scoreline out to a degree that fans didn’t see coming at halftime.
This Sunday, in Round 14 fixtures, Lake Macquarie will host West Wallsend, at Macquarie Field, Speers Point, from 2.45pm.
Toronto-Awaba will be at home to Cessnock City at Lyall Peacock Field, Toronto, from 2.30pm.
