“After being welcomed by president Noelene Goudie, we all enjoyed the wonderful entertainment supplied by the talented magician Joel Howlett,” Red Cross member Elizabeth Baker said.
“His many tricks kept everyone guessing.”
Members then enjoyed morning tea during which a cake was cut to mark the occasion.
“In the 25 years since the South Lakes branch was formed, many thousands of dollars have been raised to assist Red Cross with their many services,” Ms Baker said. “These services help the most vulnerable people here, and further afield.”
