“Love Ya. Not So Much! is a comedy based around the dysfunctional relationship of a brother and sister that have been brought together by a series of unfortunate yet hilarious events,” Monk said.

The former Toronto High School student said it was an American-style sitcom set in Australia.

The crew has recently been filming at Cooranbong and Awaba.

Monk created the concept for the show, and is co-writing it with her co-star, Benn Allsopp. Julia Nalbach is the director. Monk said she had long been impressed by the creative talent in the region, so with the help of producer Melissa Eastwell they had assembled a local crew, including the award-winning cinematographer Alex Winner.

The cast also includes Mitch Garling, Corinne Sennitt, Renee Bourke, Stephen Mahy and Daniel Chung.
