It is all very well for your correspondent B Hammond of Cooranbong, and others, to say we will all benefit from the approved development.
But will they be the ones to suffer the consequences? I think not.
My wife and I recently stayed in an upmarket hotel on the waterfront in Port Lincoln.
It was absolutely wonderful, except for the nightly drinking sessions on the front terrace where there was boisterous behaviour, loud music and noisy cars and motorbikes until 2 or 3am.
I hope those purchasing land at Trinity Point have a good sense of humour.
It is unfortunate that our council hasn’t taken more interest in this part of their territory.
What was to have been a tranquil, aesthetically pleasing, low-rise tourist precinct has developed into a high-rise complex.
And let’s not let our suburb name be hijacked.
Many residents who live close to the Trinity Point development remind everyone they live in Morisset Park and want it to stay that way.
