Morisset co-coach Peter Burgess said the team prepared well all week, but had five players pull out of the match at the last minute due to injury, which threw the team off.
"Our focus wasn't on the game," Burgess said.
"We didn't click as a unit and we didn't defend as a team, so we got belted."
Despite the loss, Morisset hasn't been knocked out of the finals as they finished second on the ladder, but now have to win their next two matches to make it to the grand final.
The Bulls will take on Woodberry in a semi-final at Lakeside Sporting Complex, Raymond Terrace, on Saturday at 3pm.
Morisset haven't played Woodberry this season, as Woodberry forfeited both matches.
"They're a bit of a mystery to us but they put more than 50 points on Abermain [in the other qualifying final], so that's a bit of a worry," Burgess said.
"We need to get back to basics and get back to playing how we've been playing all season if we want to win."
Burgess is expecting four of the five injured players to return against Woodberry, including captain Mitch Kaufmann.
