MEN from far and wide travelled to Lake Macquarie Light Railway (LMLR) at Toronto for a men's open day.
More than 250 came to the event, which was a joint venture between Toronto Men's Shed and LMLR.
Toronto Men's Shed treasurer Bob Tickle said the day's concept was to get retired and semi-retired men together to show them what organisations they can be involved in within the community.
Some of the organisations at the event included Toronto Lions, Toronto Croquet Club and the Blackalls Swing Band, while local emergency services also joined in the fun.
Visitors enjoyed a ride on the Lake Macquarie Light Rail's 1908 stream train, which took hours of careful preparation to get ready to roll.
