The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 46-year-old man, was trapped inside the wreckage.

Emergency services personnel were able to remove him from the wreck.

Despite the efforts of emergency services workers to revive the man, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
