Back in Sydney I was walking out before dawn and felt something like the slip stream of a train pass over my head.
It happened again and I figured it was a game owls play.
Roseville is so quiet at night, but at 2am there was a great kerfuffle across the road. I heard a squawking currawong and the intruder I believe was my owl.
At the time I thought they were engaging - their offspring would be a hoot.
