WYONG Roos will take on NSW Cup leaders Penrith after the NRL match at Central Coast Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Wyong is coming off a 38-26 win over Manly at Campbelltown.
The win maintained the Roos' fifth place on the congested ladder.
The Roos were comfortable and leading 22-4 in the second half before the Sea Eagles fought back to level the scores at 26-all with 10 minutes remaining.
Late tries to Wyong's Matthew Mcilwrick and winger Kieren Gallagher proved the difference.
Earlier, Abraham Papalii was again at his tackle-busting best, crashing over from a simple hit-up from a penalty tap to score for Wyong.
The Roos were rocked by a string of injuries and played out the final minutes of the contest with just 13 players - some of whom were patched up and forced to play in unfamiliar positions.
Sunday's match at Gosford will be the first meeting this season between the Roos and Panthers.
Kick off is at 4.30pm.
The NSW Cup match will follow the NRL match between Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast, due to start at 2pm.
