ONE of the key players overseeing the economic growth of Lake Macquarie will be guest speaker at Bonnells Bay Progress Association's meeting next Wednesday night.
Adam Cougle is the chief executive of Dantia, the company established by Lake Macquarie City Council to drive economic development across the city.
Association president Col Roach said Mr Cougle had an impressive CV.
"Adam joined Dantia following the successful creation of a Commonwealth Bank business unit which raised over $2 billion of capital predominantly for the development of new infrastructure projects around Australia, and created over 2000 jobs whilst enhancing multiple cities' communities," Mr Roach said.
"This background provides Adam with real world experience of what is required to successfully and sustainably enhance economic development."
Prior to working with the Commonwealth Bank, Mr Cougle worked for major international financial institutions.
At the Bonnells Bay meeting, residents will hear about development plans for Lake Macquarie.
■The meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 3, at Bonnells Bay Youth and Community Centre.
