MORISSET PCYC recently received a Community Builders Partnership grant to line the walls of the indoor sports facility with wood panelling.
While the grant covered the materials, it didn't cover the labour.
Enter the Southlakes Men's Shed.
Morisset PCYC manager, Rosmairi Dawson, approached the blokes from Southlakes Men's Shed, who were more than willing to volunteer to provide the labour needed to install the panels.
"The result is fantastic," Ms Dawson said.
"I can't thank the Men's Shed enough for the dedicated service they have provided to the PCYC.
"They sourced the material, cut, installed, painted and completed the work in just a few days.
"I couldn't be happier with the result."
The panelling will protect the metal walls from the impact of flying balls and will reduce some noise.
Southlake Men's Shed members meet every Tuesday at Dora Creek to work on projects.
