The last time Wallsend lost a match was in their round 2 clash against Lake Macquarie.
The game was a high scoring thriller (9-4) but Lake Macquarie coach Barry Ross doesn't expect either team to leak as many goals this time.
"We've both tightened up our defence so we are expecting a much closer game," Ross said.
Ross backed the Roosters to win, but said his team will need to turn up focused as they haven't played in two weeks because of the wet weather.
"Last time we had an extended break we were caught off guard against Singleton [with a 3-1 defeat]," Ross said.
"Wallsend's last game was washed out as well, so the game will come down to who handles the extended break better."
Ross said he expected another big game from striker Sam Walker, in fine form scoring 18 goals in eight matches.
"Sam's got great speed and if the other teams don't contain him he's capable of scoring two or three goals every game," he said.
"Every team has tried to mark him out of the game but no one has done it successfully and unless Wallsend has changed their structure, I don't think they will be able to do it either."
Meanwhile, Toronto-Awaba will take on West Wallsend at Johnson Park on Sunday, with the hope of snapping a three-game losing streak.
The Stags are sitting at the bottom of the table with two wins.
