TO commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, Wangi RSL is this Anzac Day attempting to break its own record for the number of historic military vehicles in one parade.
There are already 50 vehicles lined up for the parade, but event organiser Jason Becker said there could be up to 100.
"As we get closer to the date, more and more people are coming forward with vehicles," Mr Becker said.
"Most of the vehicles are from World War II, so they're 60 to 70 years old."
Vehicles that will be on parade include Bren gun carriers, Willys and Ford Jeeps, Ford and Chevrolet Blitz trucks, half-tracks, Dodge weapons carriers, ambulances and mule carriers.
"This will be a one-off opportunity to see such a large and vast number of World War II vehicles in the one location," Mr Becker said.
The vehicles are from private collections.
Mr Becker said the parade will also feature an amphibious Jeep.
"It's one of only three amphibious Jeeps in Australia," he said.
The parade will begin at 10am at Puna Street, Wangi Wangi, and follow Dobell Drive into Watkins Road before finishing at Wangi RSL Club.
A memorial service will be held at the club after the parade.
The vehicles will remain on display along the foreshore for the public to inspect.
