Yes, we all mow our grass verge and surrounds on public property in Wangi Wangi.

The problem is the risk that we might be exposed to in the event of one of those horrible stones flying from our trimmer or mower and breaking a passing car window or, worse, injuring a person.

We know that we are insured against this mowing our own property but from my experience in other council areas, no insurance coverage for this is available from council.

So you are on your own.

So what about a statement from council so that we know where we stand legally?
