SIX women's teams will take to the field for the first time this Saturday when they compete in the inaugural GE Black Diamond AFL Women's Gala Day.

The day will kick off at Feighan Oval, Warners Bay, from 9am.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three 20-minute games.
Lake Macquarie will play Warners Bay in the opening match at 9am.
They will then take on Nelson Bay at 11am and Maitland at 1pm.
The final will be held on the main ground at 1.30pm, preceding the Black Diamond Cup men's match between Warners Bay and Newcastle City.
Black Diamond AFL football operations manager Garry Burkinshaw said women who have not yet joined a team but would like a game should get their boots and head to the ground on Saturday.
