$33,000 for Lakes Beach surf club
MEMBER for Swansea Garry Edwards has presented Lakes Beach Surf Life Saving Club with $33,000 in state government funding under the Community Building Partnerships Grant program. The club - which now falls in the Swansea electorate following electoral bounday changes for the Saturday, March 28 poll - will use the money to upgrade and modernise its patrol room and toilet facilities.

Easter Bunny comes to Bunnings
BUNNINGS Warehouse Morisset will host a free Easter family night on Thursday, March 26, from 6pm to 8pm. It will include a fun mix of Easter DIY tips, craft activities, egg hunts, hands-on projects and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Supermarket open earlier
ALDI supermarket has opened ahead of schedule at Lake Haven Shopping Centre. "ALDI will complement our existing fresh food specialties and Woolworths and Coles.We are also very excited to announce that Dick Smith will be opening in April, next door to ALDI," centre manager Mike Cochrane said.
