WHILE dangerous and speeding drivers and those talking on mobile phones are rightly condemned, there other drivers who needlessly inconvenience us all.
(1) Parking fools. They park four metres past the parking sign or parked car so as to prevent others from being able to park nearby.
(2) Right-turn road hogs. They make a right-hand turn from the far left-hand side of the road, preventing all traffic from going around them on the left.
(3) Left-turn blockers. Like right-turn road hogs, except in mirror reverse. They prevent traffic from passing them to the right.
(4) Roundabout speed freaks. They think that because they are going straight through the roundabout at very high speed, that they have right of way. The more inexperienced the driver the faster they can travel.
(5) Roundabout stalkers. These stop whenever there is a car approaching the roundabout at a great distance. The older the driver, the earlier they stop.
(6) Tailgaters. They have to brake so hard when the car in front stops that they needlessly block traffic, instead of steadily driving around to the left or right as necessary.
(7) Parking area mongrels. They think it's OK to park on the white line, making it impossible for them not to damage your door when they get back into their car. The larger the four-wheel-drive, the heavier the door to damage yours.
