The new venture is owned by Jakir Prodhamia.
Early feedback on the restaurant is encouraging.
"Local business people told me they were happy with the opening, and that they had been waiting for a restaurant like this in Morisset for a long time," Mr Prodhamia said.
The restaurant's 15 local staff were tested on a busy opening night.
They presented a three-course buffet, which gave diners a sample of the dinner options.
The restaurant fronts Dora Street, in the Woolworths complex, and is open daily from 7am to 9pm.
It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with some al fresco tables.
Breakfast options include cereals and fruit ($7), buttermilk pancakes with various toppings ($11) and a variety of dishes featuring eggs, bacon and sausages (from $7).
There are 12 coffee options (from $3.50), cakes (from $3) and an assortment of teas, milkshakes and juices.
There are lunchtime sandwiches (from $5) and rolls.
Light meal choices for dinner include fish and chips ($15), and a range of gourmet burgers served with chips and soft drink (from $15).
Grill fare includes the 300g scotch fillet ($25), Star marinated grilled chicken ($22), and surf and turf ($29).
Seafood dishes include grilled Atlantic salmon ($22) and barramundi ($25).
Mr Prodhamia - who also owns seven Nargi's restaurants - said the new restaurant sourced its produce locally.
