All the nominated people can be very proud of what they have done for the community, but there are two people who stand above the rest.
Bernie Goodwin has already been honoured by having the sports oval named after him.
Horace Madden gave his life for our country and was awarded the George Cross for his bravery, and help to his fellow POW mates.
"Horsey", as we called him, was born in Morisset. He must be put up on that statue.
