WOMEN from Curves Morisset and Curves Toronto surprised local Meals on Wheels clients by buying and wrapping Christmas gifts for them from name tags and details left on giving trees in the local gyms. The initiative was also supported by Toronto Rotary.

The presents were then delivered to the clients' homes by Meals on Wheels volunteers.
"The volunteers had a wonderful day delivering all the presents - they said it made them feel like Santa - and the response from the clients was fantastic," Morisset and Toronto Meals on Wheels manager, Toni Bull, said.
"For many clients, this was the only gift they received. One client this year burst into tears, she was so overwhelmed, and couldn't believe a stranger would take the time to care about her at Christmas."
