That's because the power station has an ongoing safety performance donation program.
And the more that the power station achieves its monthly safety performance indicators, the more it donates to the two charities.
The scheme recently netted a 12-month gift of $8885 to each organisation.
"Since the donations scheme was introduced in 2003, more than $190,000 has been donated to these very worthy organisations," acting station manager Chris Brucki said.
