RSB provides occupational therapy, social work, orientation and mobility instruction, adaptive technology and low vision aids.
"The RSB's Hunter office is in Broadmeadow but our staff are on the road visiting clients in their homes with whatever support services they need to encourage and maintain their independence," the RSB's Jessica Starreveld said.
The Society recently held a Christmas social for local clients at Morisset Multi-Purpose Centre.
"We're also always keen to have volunteers join our team to help run our program of client and fund-raising activities," she said.
