POLICE have arrested a man and two women after an alleged armed robbery at the Bonnells Bay newsagency on Thursday.

The trio were stopped in a vehicle on Freemans Drive shortly after a 26-year-old man allegedly entered a Fishery Point Road newsagency about 1.10pm armed with a piece of metal.
Police said the man threatened the female store owner and demanded cash.
The man allegedly took a quantity of cash and fled to a car which was parked nearby.
No-one was hurt.
Police stopped the vehicle and detained the man and two women.
The vehicle was seized for forensic examination.
The man was charged with armed robbery and an outstanding warrant, while the two women were released pending further inquiries.
