FURTHER to my letter regarding the price of petrol in Morisset ("Petrol pricing puzzle pains", Lakes Mail, December 4), on Thursday, December 4, I was coming home from a four-day break at Nelson Bay and the petrol prices there were $1.31 to $1.34 per litre.

On my return to Morisset I noticed that one servo had finally dropped its price to $1.45.
It was better than the $1.49 it usually charges, but still up to 14 cents dearer than petrol at Nelson Bay.
On Sunday it dropped to $1.41 (great price), except at Doylson it was $1.27 and Lake Munmorah was $1.33.
I only buy fuel at Morisset if I have no option. It's too darn pricey.
