THE marathon man of V8 Supercars is making a pit stop in Toronto on Monday to meet fans.
No one has had more starts in the V8s than Aaron McGill, who will chalk up his 152nd start on the grid at the Sydney NRMA 500.
"To achieve over 150 starts really is something. No one will get within a bull's roar of that," McGill said.
A stayer, and a consistent driver, in the competition for 20 years, McGill missed only six V8 races in the last 10 years.
"We may not always win but there is plenty in that motto - you have got to be in it to win it," he said.
The V8 Supercar veteran will call into Battery World, Toronto, on Monday, December 1, from 12.30pm to 2pm to meet fans and to sign autographs.
Fans will be able to check out McGill's V8 Supercar, hear race stories, and have the chance to win a hot lap around the track.
One man who will definitely be at the store to put in an entry is Coal Point's Paul Hogg, who won the Battery World Bathurst pit crew experience with McGill.
"The pit crew experience was unbelievable so if I win the hot lap as well, the boys from work will string me up," Mr Hogg laughed.
