The Central Coast songbird lists Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Pearl Jam and Janis Joplin among her major influences.
So it's no surprise to often hear covers of Hide Your Love (The Beatles), Seven Wonders (Fleetwood Mac), and Piece of My Heart (Janis Joplin) at her shows.
Keighran does feisty female covers well, as evidenced by her renditions of Alanis Morissette hits such as Ironic and Hand in my Pocket.
Pub classics such as Khe Sanh (Cold Chisel) and Holy Grail (Hunters and Collectors) are staples of her gigs, while cruisy tunes such as Norwegian Wood (The Beatles) and Reckless (Aussie Crawl) highlight her relaxed approach to life and music.
In June this year Keighran released her debut EP, The View, and tracks from the new recording, including Fallen Fool, often get a run at her shows.
