We were having a drink on our balcony when my daughter spotted a fin in the water.
I grabbed my binoculars and saw three dolphins frolicking around my boat in Little Wangi Bay.
They were there for 20 minutes or more, when another boat passed close to my moored boat and the dolphins followed that boat heading towards Marks Point.
They sure looked as if they were having fun swimming alongside and bow riding.
My son-in-law remarked that more than one dolphin was called a pod, so if there were three of them, does that make them a tri-pod.
He always did have a sick sense of humour.
