The letter states that the only way to view these documents is to: (1) Go to LMCC or (2) Go to the Department of Planning in Newcastle or (3) Access the documents online via LMCC's website/tracking device.
These methods advantage the developer and disadvantage the residents and ratepayers who want to object as no method exists to view these documents locally, such as at Morisset library.
It is important for LMCC to be transparent and accommodate the needs of local ratepayers by providing adequate access to significant development applications and not disadvantage any ratepayer who may not have a computer, nor the necessary skills to access online information, nor transport to LMCC or Newcastle.
