Ms Wilson will take to the main stage at 11am to demonstrate how to reduce food waste and save money on food bills.
It will be just one of the highlights of another diverse festival program packed with fun, informative and entertaining activities.
Lake Macquarie City Council's acting sustainability manager, Dean Chapman, said festival-goers will learn all about sustainable cooking and healthy food.
"There'll be clever cooking tips, chef demonstrations, ideas for growing your own food, all partnered with our fantastic local farmers markets," Mr Chapman said.
"Live entertainment and kids' activities will keep all ages entertained, along with amazing stallholders, fresh produce, eco displays, sustainability experts, plant giveaways and more."
There will be Zumba and tai chi demonstrations, live music, children's rides and entertainment, farm animals and reptiles, and workshops on everything from backyard beekeeping to cooking in a solar oven.
This year, council is offering a free ferry service and bicycle valet parking to get visitors to and from the festival.
