ST John Vianney Primary School has gone through the Lakes Region Soccer Gala Day undefeated, winning both the junior and senior divisions.
The win is a huge turnaround for the school, which had previously never won a game at the event.
Teacher Joe Hamilton coached the teams and said this year's competition saw Catholic schools of the same size compete against each other.
"All the schools over 200 students competed against each other, while all the schools under 200 students competed against one another," Mr Hamilton said.
"We were in the under 200 group, so that levelled out the playing field."
Both the teams had a mix of male and female students, and brothers Blair and Connor Fitzpatrick captained the junior and senior teams.
"It was great to see the students' individual talents and to see them work together as a team," Mr Hamilton said.
"We haven't won a sporting competition like that before, so it was a good win."
Principal Simon Devlin said he was very proud of both teams and praised their sportsmanship.
