Manager and course consultant Jennie Porter said the college recently celebrated its ninth anniversary in Newcastle and in that time has established a proven track record in health education and training.
"Casey College has an excellent reputation in the health industry for producing students who are well trained and job ready," Ms Porter said.
"Nursing is a skill shortage industry and as such, the demand for well-trained carers in this field is constantly increasing.
"We provide specialised training in entry level qualifications for certificate III in disability and certificate III in aged care," she said.
"Once you are working we can offer further opportunities to build on your career.
"Our trainers are industry professionals who are passionate about passing on their skills, knowledge and practical experience to ensure those that require assistance receive it in a professional and caring manner."
Casey College also offers certificate IV in aged care, certificate IV in leisure and health, along with first aid courses, workshops for nurses, and online courses.
Ms Porter said the college, which is within walking distance of Newcastle train station, has courses in certificate III aged care and disability starting in September.
"This is a great opportunity to start working towards a fulfilling career in this fast growing industry," she said.
