The minister was responding to a question in state parliament from Independent Lake Macquarie MP Greg Piper about when funds from the Transport Access Program would be allocated to the two local stations.
"When identifying the next series of upgrades that will occur, I assure members that those stations will be given due consideration, as will all the other stations," Ms Berejiklian said.
She criticised the former Labor government, saying that when the Coalition came to power it inherited a system in which "only 124 out of 307 stations across the network had accessibility for wheelchair or mobility-impaired customers". She said the government was working hard to catch up, and the Transport Access Program, a $770 million program over four years, was evidence of its commitment.
"I appreciate how stressful it is for people who wish to catch public transport and are unable to do so," Ms Berejiklian said.
