Lake Macquarie Local Area Commander, Superintendent Brett Greentree, said four police officers targeted the illegal use of unregistered trail bikes in the eight-hour operation.
Ten motorcycle riders were stopped with nine of those spoken to, and the 10th issued an infringement for owner permit illegal use of motor cycle.
"Officers also conducted an enforcement operation last week which I believe assisted in this pleasing result," Superintendent Greentree said.
"The officers were able to access several new trails in the area and believe that there are only a relatively small number of riders acting illegally.
"Police liaised with several members of the public and were able to gain information about other anti-social activities in the area.
"These operations will continue and I urge anyone with information about unregistered motorcycle riders to come forward and contact us," he said.
