CR Doug Eaton keeps reminding us that it's the Independent Local Government Review Panel that has proposed boundary changes for Wyee and Morisset ("Mayor refutes boundary change assertions", Lakes Mail, April 3).

Yes, we do understand that, Cr Eaton. However, Wyong Shire Council (WSC) is trying very hard to gain these boundaries, even though the majority of residents are happy to stay with Lake Macquarie City Council.
And WSC is still throwing up the issue of sewerage at Wyee, and "what is best" for Wyee.
For me, the general feeling is that the best thing for Wyee is not WSC.
