"We are keen to help with any problems in our local community and are happy to share local people's ideas and wishes with those who make the final decisions for Mannering Park," publicity officer Deborah Denzel said.
This group has been in Mannering Park for more than 60 years.
It has had influence in many important decisions affecting the area, Ms Denzel said.
The group has had a hand in the turn-in and turn-out from Rutleys Road onto Vales Road, traffic lights at the end of Rutleys Road, pathways in the shopping area, shared pathways, and tables, seating and barbecues at Vales Point Park.
Secretary Coral Burnham said Mannering Park Progress was not incorporated, so did not concern itself with raising money.
"But we have a very good relationship with Delta Energy, who have funded a number of projects here," Ms Burnham said.
■ Mannering Park Progress meetings run for about an hour from 7pm on the second Tuesday of the month.
