WESTLAKES District Netball Association's 15s team were crowned champions at the Netball NSW Hunter Region State League finals in Raymond Terrace on Sunday.

The team came into the Division 5 finals as undefeated favourites.
In the semi-final they downed an under-strength Maitland side 51-18.
In the grand final they faced off against Woy Woy, a long-time and worthy adversary.
In a close contest, Westlakes finished the game five points ahead for a 32-27 victory, and were crowned winners of the Blue patch and trophy.
The Westlakes 14s also played in the State League finals, and progressed to the grand final with a 31-21 win over the host association, Port Stephens.
The WDNA 14s then played Maitland in the Division 7 grand final, but lost by just three points in a hard-fought game.
Westlakes' 17s finished equal fourth on points, while the WDNA opens finished fifth in their division.
