Head professional at Morisset Country Club, and chairman of the NSW/ACT Professional Golfers Association (PGA), David Stretton, said the 36-hole pro-am is rated as one of the premier events on the pro-am circuit.
"This year sees defending champion David Hando return to defend his title," Stretton said.
"We are all very excited to have these fantastic players contest our event.
"If you're a mad keen golfer than get yourself out to Morisset Country Club and soak up the atmosphere normally seen at some of our bigger Australasian events."
Other notable players include Leigh McKechnie, Ed Stedman, Brad McIntosh and local David Van Raalte.
Van Raalte is in fine form coming off a win at the recent Shelly Beach pro-am, Stretton said.
The golf starts on Friday, October 25, with the CCA and Classic Country Cottages sponsors day.
"On this fun-filled day all our fantastic sponsors play an 18-holes team event partnered with one of our visiting professionals," Stretton said.
"Hopefully they will learn a few tips while playing with some of the best professionals in the country."
At the conclusion of their round the professionals and sponsors tee it up in the Tohatsu and Affordable Wardrobes Shootout.
This shootout is a nearest-the-pin competition from 110 metres on the last hole.
"All our VIPs test their skill in this very exciting part of the afternoon," Stretton said. "With the verandah packed full of heckling golfers, standing over that 110m shot is daunting."
Visitors are encouraged to watch all the three days' activities and soak up the atmosphere.
"Whether you're mixing it with the pros or just watching from the fairways I can guarantee that this year's event will be one of our best ever," Stretton said.
"The professionals will be playing for $20,000 in prize money and our competing amateurs have over $5000 worth of trophies up for grabs."
