MACQUARIE Scorpions will be rested and raring to go when they take on Lakes United in the Newcastle Rugby League's Tooheys Cup premiership match at Toronto this Saturday at 3pm.
Last Sunday, Macquarie's scheduled match against Central Newcastle at Dudley Oval was washed out.
It means the second-placed Scorpions now have two postponed games to play prior to the start of the semi-finals.
Wyong, meanwhile, kept its slim semi-final hopes alive with a comprehensive 36-14 win over Lakes United. Wyong halfback Alex Moore scored three tries and four goals in the win.
This Saturday, Wyong travels to play Kurri.
