Good news for Warnervale

THE NSW government allocated $11.5 million in its State Budget for the construction of the long-awaited Warnervale Town Centre intersection with Sparks Road.

The government also announced planning and initial construction work will take place this year at a cost of $1.5 million.

"This is great news from the state government," mayor Bob Graham said.

"The release of this funding announcement for these major infrastructure works will kick start the development of the Warnervale Town Centre."

Last December, council cleared its land to make way for the impending intersection construction and the access road to the town centre.
