FORMER Socceroo Clayton Zane has been appointed coach of the Newcastle Jets National Youth League soccer team.
Internationally well experienced, Zane has worked closely with the Jets as W-League coach and looks forward to working with the game's youth.
" As a Novocastrian, I hope to help our current and future Jets youth team players make the grade as professional players," Zane said..
Newcastle-born, Zane returned home after a playing and coaching career abroad which included 14 games for the Socceroos as well as playing with Molde and Anderlecht.
