Win tickets to reptile park

CHEEKY kangaroos, cuddly koalas and scary snakes are among the star attractions at the Australian Reptile Park in Somersby.

And the Lakes Mail is giving three lucky families the chance to meet them for free.

In July, the park will celebrate Conservation Month, with plenty of special activities planned for the school holidays.

The park will welcome two dingo pups and will host Devil Ark Headquarters, which will educate visitors about the endangered Tasmanian devil.

The Australian Reptile Park is a hands-on zoo and visitors have the chance to get up close and personal with baby alligators, wombats, pythons and koalas.

Elvis the croc is another star attraction and is NSW's largest crocodile.

Stacks of interesting wildlife shows run from 9.45am to 3.45pm every day and people can visit the Lost World of Reptiles, Spider World and Frog Hollow.

Food is available at the Hard Croc Caf?, or visitors are welcome to bring a picnic or barbecue and enjoy lunch in the bushland setting and hand-feed the friendly kangaroos.

To win one of three family passes to the park, write your name, address and phone number on the back of an empty envelope and tell us when conservation month is. Post entries to: The Lakes Mail, Reptile Park Comp, PO Box 626, Morisset, 2264.

Entries close on Friday, June 22.
