Kind kids rewarded by Knight

NEWCASTLE Knights rugby league star Jarrod Mullen is the ambassador for a new program which gives children with good values the chance to win prizes including a family holiday to the Gold Coast and family tickets to a Newcastle Knights rugby league match.

The Macca's Little Champs program is an initiative of McDonald's restaurants for kids aged from 5 to 12 years.

It is aimed at rewarding good values in children by celebrating the positive things they do.

Owner and operator of McDonald's Morisset, Adam Sherman, said: "We believe it is important to celebrate the good deeds that children do, those little actions that generally do not get recognised as much as sporting and academic achievements.

"We don't just want to hear amazing stories about significant achievements - we also want to know if a child helps a friend without asking or does something nice for their sibling. We want kids all over the Hunter to know that small, kind gestures are important too."

All children who are nominated for a good action or gesture will receive a certificate and gift from McDonald's.
